8oz Envirobee Paper Coffee Cups These Envirobee paper cups are double wall kraft brown and are made from a material that makes these cups Recyclable & Commercially Compostable & Biodegradable. Packed in cases of 500. Suitable for hot drinks and cold, the double wall insulates the drink and protects the end-user from the heat. The cups are leak proof, of course, and suitable for drinks up to boiling temperature such as tea. Certified recyclable and proved according to EN13430 “Requirements for packaging recoverable by material recycling”. Testing recycling of the paper cups has been proven to work through traditional paper recycling facilities and required no modifications to the paper recycling process. Certified compostable & biodegradable and tested under the ASTM D5511-11 method which to pass the material must biodegrade by a minimum of 70% within 30 days. This material achieved 74.8% on day 28 and 94.01% on day 52 during testing. Certified compostable & biodegradable and tested to ISO 14855-1 within 12 weeks and the soil remains met ISO 17088 standards for seed germination. The paper cup did not show any effect on the seedling emergence, seedling growth and passed the earthworm toxicity test which showed no effect to the earthworms.
